My name is Sherry Bezanson and I’m a New Hampshire resident. By profession, I’m a realtor, but in my spare time I dedicate my time to my life’s greatest passion -- animals. Over the years I’ve assisted in countless dog rescue efforts, transporting and fostering for rescue organizations, fund raising for shelters, and volunteering at shelters here in NH and in Atlanta, GA. I learned of the horrors of Puppy Mills that exist throughout our country during several shows Oprah Winfrey aired. With the horrific images still fresh in my mind from the show, and months and months of personal research on Puppy Mills, I knew in my heart this was a wrong I couldn't ignore. We've been to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. lobbying against puppy mills with hundreds of other caring people. We attended Puppy Mill Awareness Day in Lancaster County, PA. You can learn more about Awareness Day on our home page. PMD takes place every year in Sept. in Lancaster, PA.Were committed to doing as much as we possibly can to expose the truth behind the Pet Trade. Our goal is to encourage pet stores to stop selling puppies. Puppies are not products! In our country alone, we euthanize 7-9 millions animals a years, so WHY are we adding to the overpopulation problem?I feel truly blessed to speak on behalf of animals on issues ranging from spay and neuter to puppy mills and adoption. Millions of innocent animals are euthanized each year because people either do not understand or choose to not care about the issues leading to pet overpopulation. If I can educate people myself, or raise money for organizations to spread the word, I feel fulfilled. There are millions of homeless animals waiting to be your best friend and to teach you many life lessons!Thank You for visiting this site!
